Cutting Papa Vance's Birthday Cake

Jackson and Bubba Mary made a Crazy Cake for Papa Vance's Birthday because it is his favorite kind. Jackson decorated it with the shape of a dinosaur with his dinosaur sandwich cutter:) Then he decided he would like to cut the cake for us.  And licking the knife is fun, too.

We went to Emilea's house for supper and swimming.  It felt good to cool off and Patrick knows how to make super hamburgers on the grill - thanks Sylvesters - it was a great time!!

Memorial Day at Centenial Park in Nashville!

On Memorial Day we got some lunch and headed to Centennial Park.

Greta thought that big pop looked pretty good - but mommy said no:)

Greta and mommy relaxed while daddy and Jackson went to check out the choo-choo and the airplane.

Daddy and Jackson thought this tree looked just right for climbing - it sure is big!!!!

Greta thought it was kinda funny.

Next we went for a walk through the park to find the musical celebration.  Jackson and mommy looked for turtles along the way and bubba took pictures of nature.

Good thing mommy brought snacks cuz that walk made Jackson hungry!

Thirsty, too!  But that blueberry slush makes everything blue!!

Time to go home - that was a great day!!!!
